It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2023 Dean's List. The winter terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2019 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Loyola University Maryland recognized the class of 2019 at its 167th Commencement Exercises on May 18, 2019.

Nine Lebanon Valley College students and two employees traveled to Peru for a week of service and cultural immersion. Living in Misminay for most of the trip, the group taught English to children and built and planted a greenhouse in order to establish a sustainable food source for the community.

437 students have been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the Class of 2019 at its 149th annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 11. The ceremony was held at the PPL Center in downtown Allentown.

Nearly 470 students celebrated their academic success and achievements during Lebanon Valley College's 150th Commencement Saturday, May 11, in Louis A. Sorrentino Gymnasium.

On Monday, April 1st, K. Joy Karnas, Kassaundra Blodgett ('19), and Miranda Fetchen ('20) represented Cedar Crest College at the 2019 Da Vinci Science Center's Women in Science and Engineering Forum, designed to engage high school women in conversations about careers in science. The evening included a mentoring dinner where the high school students had the opportunity to network with college students and science professions to gain insight into their career paths and receive advice about how to persist in the science fields. Cedar Crest College was a table sponsor for the event, and Dr. Karnas is a member of Da Vinci's WISE Executive Advisory Council that oversees this and other Da Vinci WISE Initiative events.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed 15 students to its Phi Sigma Iota honor society in April as part of its annual Inquiry celebration. Phi Sigma Iota, the Department of Languages honor society, recognizes outstanding accomplishment in the study or teaching of any of the academic fields related to foreign language, literature, or culture.

In Commencement exercises on May 15, 2018, FDU conferred nearly 3,000 degrees, ranging from associates to doctorates, on graduates, at MetLife Stadium.

Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus, located in Madison, NJ have been named to the Dean's and Honors Lists for the Spring 2018 semester.

Forty-seven interns completed the Clinic Challenge Experience (CCX) during the fall 2018 quarter at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. CCX was designed to help students make a successful transition from classroom to chiropractic internship by sharpening their professional focus, energizing their passion for chiropractic and exposing them to success principles for practice. The ropes course on Sherman College's campus consists of a variety of "challenges by choice" - using ropes, pulleys, walls, platforms, poles - all of which present students with the opportunity to use problem-solving skills and teamwork. Facilitators and teammates encourage participants to face and overcome whatever fears are blocking their ability to accomplish the tasks. The doctor of chiropractic program at Sherman College requires students to complete approximately 4,600 hours (14 quarters) of classroom and laboratory study and also includes an internship in the college's on-campus Chiropractic Health Center.

Monroe College, a national leader in educating urban and international students, held its 85th Annual Commencement on June 13, 2018 at Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan. Benjamin Tucker, the First Deputy Commissioner of the New York Police Department, and Marcos Crespo, a member of the New York State Assembly, gave the keynote addresses. Two separate ceremonies were held to accommodate the families and friends of the 2,600 students earning Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degrees and professional certificates.
